Our purpose is to empower and encourage our people to think differently about how we can make a positive impact as a firm.The role:As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will be pivotal in the strategic and operational management of building assets or a portfolio, ensuring their proper and efficient operation and a safe environment for all occupants and visitors.This role involves coordinating maintenance, repairs, and managing operational budgets within approved limits and company policies. You will also be responsible for managing and supporting Facilities Managers or trainees, contributing to their development.Key responsibilities:Oversee the operational activities of assigned assets, including implementing Planned Preventive Maintenance programs using FRC.Manage building operational and risk management elements, ensuring adherence to Knight Frank health and safety systems and policies by all parties on site.Engage and manage contractors following established policies and procedures in FRC, ensuring online induction and sign-in protocols are followed.Conduct regular building inspections, manage access systems, and implement Emergency Evacuation Training and Procedures.Drive sustainability goals related to waste, energy, and water efficiency in line with sustainability plans.Procure goods and services and engage contractors using Knight Frank policies and contract formats, utilizing FRC for all contractor engagement and documentation.Monitor contractor works, ensuring quality and minimal disruption, and conduct performance reviews using FRC tools.Who are we looking for?Individuals with tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management or a related property course, or a trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering, or plumbing.Candidates with significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role or the property industry, including a proven track record in contract and contractor management.Professionals with strong organisational and planning skills, and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail in written communications.A proactive individual who demonstrates initiative and takes responsibility for tasks and outcomes.Someone with a general knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and practices, and basic financial management skills including budgeting.An individual with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.Whats in it for you?Competitive remuneration packageCareer development opportunities such as internal and external mentoring, leadership education training, and study leave to focus on your personal growth.A generous 16-week parental scheme plus superannuation for a full 12 monthsBirthday leaveSwap around a public holiday for a cultural swap day!Two Wellness Days to allow you to focus on your own physical and or mental wellbeingA workplace where you can access 2 weeks additional leave each year so you can take that extra break with family or friendsWe applaud your need to give back to the community and give you 2 paid volunteer days each year to support one of our-affiliated charitiesOur reward platform The Vault which gives you access to a great range of discounts at popular retailers and supermarkets as well as lifestyle benefits and corporate discountsBecause life can throw the unexpected at us, we help subsidise private health insurance excess, if you or an immediate family member requires hospitalisationPlus, so much more!Not the perfect fit?We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities - as every person and their situation is unique, we look at this on an individual and applied role basis.We actively encourage you to apply for roles that suit your background and skillset.
