Our Resources and Industrial business is seeking a customer-focused Senior Operations Supervisor in Port Hedland to oversee logistic operations for multi-national mining companies.This role is responsible for the day-to-day running of both fuel and general freight movements and would suit an experienced transport leader who will drive a high-performing culture with a commitment to best practice safety standards.This role is available either residential or FIFO on an 8/6 roster. Key areas:Supervise the scheduling team to ensure fuel and general freight contracts are planned effectively in accordance with contractual obligationsMentor scheduling and driver teams to develop capability and provide operational efficiencyOversee the rostering of drivers in accordance with fatigue regulations and leave planEffectively manage the fleet maintenance scheduleDevelop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts through transparent and open communicationProactive approach to safety management with a focus on improvementAre you the one?Previous experience in a leadership role within a complex supply chain environment will enable you to make an immediate impact with the team.
