Due to continued expansion, Ferrycarrig has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team.This position will be based on Infrastructure projects in the Newcastle/Hunter Region of NSW.About UsFerrycarrig is a leading constructor of utilities and civil infrastructure. We are a multi-disciplined contractor with the in-house resources and capabilities to deliver all aspects of our projects.We own and operate a large fleet of plant and equipment and employ a diverse workforce that has extensive experience delivering large and complex utilities and civil infrastructure projects.Ferrycarrig has made significant contributions to some of Sydney''s largest infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets.What You Will Be DoingOn a daily basis, you will be responsible for the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.Work with project teams directly to ensure effective resource utilization and maintain a safe system of work on site.Plan project execution daily with project teams, ensuring program and contract requirements are met.Ensure key project deliverables of cost, time, and quality are met.Resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.Build relationships with other staff and client teams.Is this job for me?Be degree qualified in Civil Engineering.Have at least 5 years of working experience in construction, with a minimum of 2 years'' experience on Civil Infrastructure projects.Possess effective time management, problem-solving, analytical thinking, organizational, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Demonstrate skills in stakeholder management and have managed a large team in terms of project delivery.In return from FerrycarrigExcellent salary package on offer.Fully expensed company vehicle.Get involved with large and high-profile civil infrastructure projects in Sydney.Work with a progressive and fast-growing business that rewards initiative.Opportunities for progression and professional development with ongoing training and support.Join a friendly and supportive team environment with a sense of community.Our Core Values:At Ferrycarrig, we take our core values to heart.
