Combining the magic of what humans and their machines do best and revolutionising how small businesses get cared for around their bookkeeping and accounting.If our mission excites you as much as it does us; read on Retinue by Squeeze is on the lookout for passionate Accountants to join our team, initially in a Temp capacity with the opportunity to move to Perm!We are eager to meet enthusiastic candidates who are excited to join and contribute to our journey whether thats jumping into our Payroll, Accounting or Bookkeeping teams - we all roll up our sleeves to help each other out.What youll doPreparation and review of monthly management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts for clients businesses.Explaining the key insights from financial information and management reporting to small business owners, in a clear and simple manner.Providing Xero bookkeeping services for a wide range of SME clients, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and the management of accounts payable and receivable.Processing client''s payroll using Xero Payroll.Prioritising and handling multiple tasks and jobs effectively, while still maintaining high-quality work.Being the focal point for all queries and advice from your clients, ensuring they get the support they need from our services.Developing and maintaining positive relationships with your clients, working with them to achieve their business goals.Remaining current on industry trends, changes in regulations and best practices, and effectively communicating this information to clients in a clear and simple manner.Wed love to hear from you if you tick some of these boxesDegree qualified with minimum 2 years experience in public practice.CPA or CA qualified.Experience working with small business clients preferred.Proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager and MYOB.Ability to manage multiple client priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Happy to be hands-on no task is too small or too big.Have exceptional organization and communication skills.Are accountable, client-centric and proactive!Whats in it for you?Were here to disrupt the traditional bookkeeping and accounting industry, so that motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you''ll also get to experience lots of moments of magic, innovation and fun!Great location close to public transport, with open floor plan offices and first-class amenities (including weekly breakfasts, happy hours and wellness & parents rooms).Be a meaningful part in our success and growth story everyone makes an impact!Work with brilliant people and leaders who will share their expertise with you.Exceptional professional growth opportunities in a fast-growing business, including (but not limited to) management opportunities or lateral opportunities.
