We are looking for enthusiastic leaders who are ready to take on the challenge of managing a dynamic team in the great outdoors. In this role you will oversee all tree maintenance operations.Your expertise will guide your team as they work efficiently and effectively to meet the diverse needs of our community. Join our team and grow with us!Qualifications and experienceCertificate III in ArboricultureClass MR Drivers Licence or ability to obtain within 6 months of employmentNSW General Construction Induction Card (white card)Senior First Aid CertificateRTA Approved Traffic Controller accreditation or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employmentDemonstrated experience in leading teams and supervising staffDemonstrated experience in the use of a tree chipperExperience implementing a tree protection programKnowledge of applicable legislation and regulationsSkills in the operation of computers, mobile phones and tabletsDemonstrated commitment to customer serviceAbility to work within a team environment.Work Cover approved front end loader accreditationAerial Rescue Statement of AttainmentElevated Work Platform operator licenceOperate and maintain stump grinding machinesDemonstrated experience in the use of a large tree chipperExperience in the planting and establishment of trees.Remuneration and benefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,451.97 per weekRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.Our commitment to safetyBlacktown City Council is committed to safety.
