The role is responsible for providing data-driven portfolio analysis and advice to identify redevelopment opportunities, inform capital planning decisions and budget bids, and other transactions. The team includes project managers who deliver construction projects of contemporary, fit-for-purpose and resident-centric dwellings that are financially sustainable. Together with the broader Disability Homes Victoria (DHV) team, this position will work to ensure the department''s SDA offering best meets the needs and preferences of eligible NDIS participants and is in step with demand and contemporary SDA development across Australia.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:Oversee the development of assets and initiatives that result in a holistic, person-centred approach to SDA development while ensuring they meet statewide departmental and government objectives, NDIS requirements, budget considerations and the expectations of people with a disability and the community.Lead the development of a pipeline of SDA housing projects for Disability Homes Victoria which strategically improves the SDA portfolio, working in close collaboration with other branches across Disability Homes Victoria and the department, and in line with demand drivers, input from key partners and incorporating the voice of people with disabilities who are our tenants and future tenants.Apply innovative thinking to propose solutions and recommendations to senior management to address SDA portfolio challenges, and develop strategies and plans to manage the department''s SDA portfolio and other disability assets.HOW TO APPLYAll VPS employees (and ex-VPS employees with extended access to the Jobs and Skills Exchange website) MUST apply via the Jobs and Skills Exchange portal.Applicants are encouraged to apply online.
