Some of the key tasks will include:Promote occupational health & safety on site and support the Corporate WHSE Manager to identify any gaps in systems and procedures.Maintain strong knowledge of the relevant Acts and Regulations and advise management of changes to legislation or activities being conducted or planned.Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHAs, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.Advise and support project teams and contractors on WHSE matters, ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.Ensure all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses are properly reported, investigated, and followed up on.Assist in the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.Develop and deliver safety induction programs for all site personnel.About YouThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Relevant qualification in WHSE like Certificate IV in WHS, Diploma of WHS, or equivalent.At least 7+ years of experience in a Senior WHSE role, preferably within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation, standards, and best practices.Experience with risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and hazard management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with site personnel and stakeholders at all levels.Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.How to ApplyAt Monford, our RIPPA values are the cornerstone of our culture and achievements.
