The Landings comprises 220 architecturally designed one, two and three-bedroom villas and apartments. On-site facilities include an arts and craft room, gymnasium and heated indoor pool. The clubhouse amenities include The Hangar Cafe & Bar, a fireplace lounge area, a pool room, a dedicated theatre space, and a 200-seat function space.About The RoleThe Kitchen Hand is responsible for maintaining the order and cleanliness of the kitchens facilities up to government and company sanitation standards. The Kitchen Hand will have responsibility for maintaining the cleaning schedule of the kitchen. This includes sanitisation of the Village kitchen, washing of all pots and pans and china crockery, cleaning of kitchen walls, floors, cool rooms and kitchen equipment, and garbage disposal.We are looking for a casual Kitchen Hand that can work 3-4 shifts a week. The hourly rate is $34.57 (inclusive of casual loading).Clean all kitchen surfaces, mop, and sweep kitchen floors, put away dishes, pots and pans, organize food, clean out freezers, and remove trash.Ensure all dishes are adequately sanitized by maintaining required water temperature and chemical levels. Other tasks including polishing silverware, doing chemical dips when applicable, and dry and put dishes away.Assist Chefs by completing food preparation tasks. This can include everything from organizing the refrigerator and freezer to chopping vegetables, washing fruit, defrosting meat, and preparing sauces and marinades. Preparation of dishes that require little to no cooking, such as salads.Ensure appliances and cooking equipment are properly used and maintained, take inventory of supplies and food, ensuring that the kitchen has accurate and adequate stock of consumables.Support kitchen staff as and when required and in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Head Chef or other member of the management team.Our Employee Value PropositionLDK villages have established a reputation of being truly happy places for residents.
