Nuveen Equities and Fixed Income (NEFI) is seeking a Real Assets Research Analyst to cover publicly traded real estate and infrastructure securities. The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic and contributing member of a highly successful group of investment professionals. With solid critical thinking, an investor mindset and a growth mentality, the Research Analyst Real Assets will conduct independent research on publicly traded real estate and infrastructure securities. The successful candidate will analyse financial documents, conduct industry and competitive analysis and prepare reports related to the public and private real asset market and individual companies therein. Working independently under limited supervision, the Research Analyst will build a relative valuation framework and make security and sector recommendations to portfolio managers.Key Responsibilities:Researches individual listed companies and develops a proprietary view on absolute and relative valuation using a mix of quantitative and qualitative metrics.Collects market information and derives business forecasts to best determine upcoming trends and industry changes.Conveys security and sector recommendations to the portfolio management teams through presentations and investment reports, including earnings notes, conference notes, meeting notes, and ad-hoc reports.Attends industry conferences, meets with company management, and analyses changes in supply and demand patterns.Works closely with other global team members to share ideas and best practices.Stays current on regional political and economic news and data in order to serve as an expert for the team.Presents views to clients and prospective clients.Collaborates with Nuveens global client group to grow the business.Qualifications & Experience Required:Bachelor''s degree required.
