A Full-Time permanent position has arisen for a successful candidate to help an international Bank manage legal and compliance responsibilities critical to their operations.Your Responsibilities:Provide training including induction training for all new staff as well as ongoing compliance & legal trainingReview and update policies and procedures that support the compliance frameworkDraft reports to the head office on a quarterly and semi-annual basisPrepare periodic reports for the Risk Committee and senior management and assist in drafting reports for the regulatorsMaintain and keep the Compliance & Legal Registers up to dateUpdate the obligation register and facilitate the quarterly obligations attestation from the head of the departmentsPrepare and assist in lodging regulatory notifications/reports/submissionsConduct legal research and legal reviews on products, contracts, marketing materials and other legal documentsProvide legal opinions on internal inquiries and manage legal orders/caseYour ExperienceBachelor degree in LawKnowledge of the Australian financial services laws and regulations including licensing requirementsKnowledge of APRA Prudential Standards and AML requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong stakeholder management experienceFull Australian working rights required (citizenship or permanent residency) #J-18808-Ljbffr
