DCSG is looking to bring on a new lead battery technician to the company. There are generally 4-5 crew members on a DCSG battery team; the team lead would be on site at job locations and would be responsible for leading and managing the battery team.ResponsibilitiesMust be reliable, organized and professional with solid customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in various challenging situations.Able to work from schematic diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions.Must have leadership skills and qualities and be able to lead the battery crew.Must have strong organizational skills and show great attention to detail.Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.Must be able to document service reports effectively.Working knowledge of OHMs law and electronic theory.Knowledge of basic AC/DC theory, electronic components, and electronic circuitry.Required hours are sometimes irregular, requiring late/early business day and weekend work (although most shifts are M-F, 8 hours per day).Must be able to lift 50 lb + batteries.Ability to make basic site evaluations.Clean driving records a must; lead must have a DOT to drive company trucks/vehicles or obtain one after being hired.Elementary fix/repair techniques.Capable of completing tasks and returning unit to full operating conditions.Excellent working knowledge of electricity and the electro-chemical theory of batteries is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude.DC Power, UPS Batteries: 2-3 years (Preferred).Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offTools providedCell Phone ReimbursementSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesFacilities Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
