It includes strategic planning, program development, and continuous evaluation of training initiatives to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees. The Senior Training Advisor will confidently lead a team of training professionals, work closely with various departments to understand and address business needs, and contribute to the overall development and success of the organisation.In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity, and innovation, this position is ideal for someone who is team-oriented, customer-focussed, and able to build effective relationships with stakeholders.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement comprehensive training strategies to address organisational needs.Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.Design and deliver engaging training materials and programs, utilising various instructional methods.Collaborate with department heads to ensure training aligns with business objectives.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.Mentor and support members of the training team in their professional development.Manage the training budget, including allocating resources and negotiating with vendors for training materials and services.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSRelevant tertiary qualification and Cert IV in training and assessing.Proven experience in designing and implementing effective training programs.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyse data and assess training effectiveness.Proficiency in training software and tools.Sound knowledge of National Competency Standards and competency training requirements.We offer:Contribute to a green and sustainable industry of the future.Competitive salary with a performance-based discretionary bonus structure.12% Superannuation.Rewards and recognition program.Long service leave option after 5 years (pro rata).Supportive colleagues committed to your success and well-being.Inclusive and diverse work environment.LOCATIONTLEA proudly acknowledges the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.HOW DO I APPLY?To find out more about this unique opportunity, please submit your application by 2 May 2025 by clicking the ''Apply'' button.
