If youre a technically skilled leader with a safety-first mindset and a passion for developing people, this is your next big move.A Day in the Life as a Field Coordinator at TransgridLead and supervise the day-to-day execution of substation work programs, including maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Provide visible, hands-on leadership in the field while coaching your team, resolving issues on the spot, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and work quality expectations.Act as the key point of contact for field crews during critical tasks, escalating issues where needed, and ensuring strong communication across field operations and project stakeholders.Coordinate field resources, including people, equipment, mobile plant, and work closely with planning teams to optimise scheduling, manage priorities, and minimise downtime.Support emergency response activities, including after-hours coordination for incidents involving public safety, outages, or equipment failure.About YouElectrical trade qualifications and extensive substation experience.Strong leadership and decision-making skills in field environments.Knowledge of high-voltage transmission systems and safety compliance.Proficiency with ERP tools, Excel, and Power BI for reporting.Clear communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.At Transgrid, we empower our people with a well-rounded benefits package designed to support their personal, professional, and social well-being, helping them deliver their best work every day.
