Located among the worlds premier cities and resort destinations, each custom-designed Park Hyatt hotel combines distinct regional character with elegant brand touches.The Dining Room by James Viles (One Hat) is a signature restaurant of Park Hyatt Sydney and is looking for a Restaurant Manager who is ready to further their career with Australias award-winning hotel.We are searching for passionate individuals focused on exceptional guest experience as a Manager and who are ready to bring their management skills and engaging personality to our signature restaurant.About the RoleEnsure that The Dining Room operates successfully and in accordance with brand standards.Work closely with the other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of guests.Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.Handle guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if there is no immediate solution, assuring follow-up with guests.Have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct, and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards.Lead the team to high service and quality standards as well as supervise the standard of service provided by staff.Assist with recruitment of colleagues and provide onboarding training.Maximize the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, the candidate should possess the following:Current NSW RSA Competency Card.Sufficient experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar environment; experience in a Hatted restaurant is desirable.Strong food and beverage service skills.Strong knowledge of wines and other beverages; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with wine styles, grape varieties, and other beverage items.Working at Park Hyatt Sydney will include:Access to employee benefits such as complimentary shift meals, discounts for the Spa and all Food and Beverage outlets.Access to complimentary and discounted Hyatt accommodation worldwide.Access to internationally recognized learning and development programs and opportunities.Access to an employee assistance program and paid family leave benefits.Being part of a diverse and inclusive team, passionate about their work.A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
