Archibald Neasham Racing Pty Ltd is currently seeking highly experienced and capable staff to join our team. Positions are full-time and available at Warwick Farm, Rosehill & Scone NSW, Pakenham VIC and Eagle Farm QLD.Available PositionsHorse Trainer/Forepersons (senior and 2nd Forepersons) able to educate our young horses on the ground, plus responsibility for a team and barn of horses.Young Horse Trainer/Rider - able to ride 8 -10 horses per morning (with particular emphasis on riding pace/timed work and jump outs).The salary will be above award in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 per annum depending upon the level of responsibility for Horse Trainer/Forepersons, and $70,000 to $90,000 per annum for Young Horse Trainer/Rider.Essential Skills:All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years equivalent full-time professional experience in the role, or 2 years equivalent full-time experience and a relevant qualification. In addition, the following will be required:Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racingProven ability to train and educate horsesOral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information and/or instructionAbility to work in a team and independently (or proven management experience if the position is for a foreperson role)Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipmentSound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorsesDesirable Skills:A Certificate III or equivalent international qualificationPlease send a detailed resume listing your horse training experience and two written references to jobs@annabelneashamracing.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
