Approvals Compliance and Reporting AdvisorRole will be based in our Sydney CBD office with occasional travel to our site in Mudgee in the Central West Orana Region.The ACEREZ consortium, which includes the ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), has been appointed Preferred Proponent to design and construct the transmission line infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), as part of Australias energy transition, outlined in the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.The new transmission infrastructure will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the states newly legislated Net Zero targets.Job DescriptionWith a commitment to driving positive change, contributing to the evolution of Australias green energy sector, this is your chance to be part of something groundbreaking!Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Approvals Compliance and Reporting Advisor to share their expertise within our growing Environmental & Sustainability team. You will support the team with implementing the requirements of the Projects Construction Environment Management Plan.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks across projects. Provide accurate, timely reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to both internal and external standards. Utilise features of the ArcGIS software suite for a range of geospatial tasks.Establish robust governance frameworks, maintain quality and performance standards, and independently review project activities for compliance. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address geospatial capability gaps.Identify and mitigate risks, keeping risk registers current and working alongside project teams to secure smooth, compliant project delivery. Participate in training and continuous learning to stay updated on GIS technology.Keep thorough records of compliance activities, lead initiatives to refine compliance policies, and improve project governance procedures.Minimum QualificationsA bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field, with certifications in compliance or project management a plus.3-5 years in compliance, assurance, or project management within regulated sectors (construction, transport, etc.) and experience with Government or Tier 1 contracts.Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, especially for the construction and transport sectors.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements and integrate them into project processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.Sharp analytical abilities with attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.Proficient in compliance and project management software tools.We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
