Based in Trafalgar, Fowlers Asphalting are seeking an asphalt crew member to join our team.To be successful in this role:You will have experience in asphalt paving/level hand, pavement construction, roller operations, skid steer operations, general pavement design and general labouring duties. Current HR/HC licence and experience in floating machinery is highly desired.Take direction from supervisors to assist in asphalt operations;Report maintenance and undertake daily routine maintenance as required;Daily operation of tippers, skid steers, rollers, pavers and more;Float machines to and from site as required;Daily labouring and cleaning duties.Skills required for this role:Interest in the asphalt industry;The ability to take direction and show initiative;Proven ability to be a team player;Excellent understanding of and commitment to quality, and work health safety;A positive "Can Do" attitude and be self-motivated, conscientious, and eager to learn;A strong work ethic, meaning reliable, punctual, honest and committed.On offer:Competitive hourly rate;Opportunity to work in a highly successful team;Be provided with ongoing training and development;Have overtime hours available and be paid at applicable penalty rate.Fowlers Asphalting encourage and value diversity and inclusion.
