Because creating unforgettable holidays is not just our job its in our nature.What youll do:Reporting to the Resort General Manager, you will guide the Food and Beverage Team across multiple facilities to deliver an exceptional experience for all team members and resort guests. You will play a leading role in designing & executing the Food & Beverage Operations within the resort. This role is responsible for the direct supervision of a large team, up to 25 individuals. Key accountabilities include:Ensure the Food and Beverage Department represents the core values of NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience.Maintain these standards whilst working within monthly financial budgets set by NRMA.Work professionally and collaboratively alongside the Head Chef, Resort Management and Sales Events Team, to create industry leading outlets and functions.Create and maintain a positive, dynamic working culture that creates moments of exceptional quality.You will also:Provide overall management to the food and beverage team.Manage stock for both the general store & bar(s) in line with departmental COGS.Oversee and manage the operations of the restaurant, bar/s, caf & general store.Supervise shifts/rosters to enable the restaurant, bar/s, caf and C&E to operate to the demands of the resort and business opening hours in line with departmental wage costs and event BEOs.Place orders with all suppliers in accordance with business demands.Conference Room set up and ability to follow C&E sequence of service.Maintain communications with General Manager to work toward a positive outcome for all the needs of the business.Ensure rosters are published a fortnight in advance.Conduct regular team meetings to ensure team members are aligned with upcoming operations and Food & Beverage strategy.Manage risks & hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment.Comply with Food Safety laws & legislation for the safety of our guests.Ensure all team members comply with the responsible service of alcohol.Manage the register for Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.What youll bring:You will have previously managed or held a senior role in a Food and Beverage department within a Hotel, Resort, or Restaurant that also caters for large events.A current liquor license is preferred, however we will support the right candidate to obtain one.Your communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are refined and authentic.Proven experience in contributing to driving and improving guest experience, along with refined conflict resolution skills.You are now ready to move into a role where no one day will ever be the same!Your hands-on experience will assist in leading & mentoring the department to success!Whats in it for you?Progressive flexibility, leave and well-being benefits to balance all of life''s priorities.Travel discounts on SIXT car rental, cruises, and accommodation at our award-winning NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts.Complimentary myNRMA membership including free Roadside Assistance & discounts on groceries, movie tickets, gift cards, gym memberships, attractions, restaurants and much more.ME day one extra day of paid leave per year, called a ME Day, to use at any time during the calendar year.Market leading 18 weeks paid primary and 4 weeks paid secondary parental leave entitlements.Discounts on all NRMA insurance products including car, home & travel.Grow or progress your career and move around the country or across the NRMA Group''s business with us.Know you belong:Were for inclusion, diversity, and representing the members, guests, customers, and communities we serve.
