This leadership position was formed to provide dedicated focus across transport infrastructure.Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure Lifecycle Planning and Performance and based at Bundall, the role oversees four coordinators responsible for road assets, transport structures, sustainable transport, and long-term asset strategy. The team supports a network of over 3300km of roads, 1000 structures, and a growing portfolio of active transport assets, servicing a population of more than 650,000 residents and millions of visitors annually.This is a rare opportunity to influence how the City plans, prioritises, and manages its transport infrastructure. You will guide a large team through a period of change, with a clear mandate to uplift asset maturity, align systems (including SAP), and embed long-term planning into budgeting and delivery processes. The role is highly collaborative and influential, with regular engagement across internal teams and with elected members via the Transport and Infrastructure Committee.You will bring experience in transport or infrastructure asset management within a large and complex organisation, along with a degree in engineering or a related field.
