Flexibility to WFH & the Footscray/ Sunbury officeApply your technical know-how in a customer-centric environmentFree income protection & life insurance, discounted health insurance, recognition programs, and monthly work-life balance daysAbout Greater Western WaterWere water and more.GWW is a Victorian government owned water corporation that provides an essential service to some of the fastest-growing communities in Australia, stretching from Melbournes CBD to Lancefield in the north and Bacchus Marsh in the west.We embrace flexibility and connection with a balance of on-site and WFH.Free onsite parking (subject to availability)Gender neutral, 16-week parental leave available from commencementMonthly work life balance day off to treat yourself (if full-time)Free income protection and salary continuance insuranceAccess to corporate health insurance deals with major providersWellbeing, prayer, and sensory rooms in the Footscray and Sunbury officeThe opportunityIn this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Build Over Easement & Asset Protection team within Growth & Development.Day-to-day you will be providing accurate and timely information to diverse customers and stakeholders, resolving technical and process issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance system integrity, and improve processes.You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality customer outcomes through the assessment and processing of complex build over easement and plumbing applications, assisting with team training and upskilling, and contributing to a high-performing, customer-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage build over applications and prepare connection conditions for customers within Greater Western Waters set target times, GWW guidelines, and customers needs.Maintain systems, standards, and procedures to ensure the work is completed to a high standard.Provide support and advice to internal and external customers (including Councils, Plumbers, Hydraulic Consultants, Surveyors, and the General Public).Support Team Leader to maintain a dedicated team, achievement, and customer-focused culture.Skills & ExperienceExperience in a similar role with a high level of technical knowledge in asset management planning, engineering design standards, and/or property development would be advantageous.Highly developed negotiation skills, with the ability to consistently reach mutual positive outcomes.Effective communication skills complemented by engaging interpersonal skills and a passion for sharing knowledge.Experience in process improvement and results-driven mindset who embraces challenges.See yourself thrive!Our vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
