Job Description About the role Are you passionate about sustainability and leading impactful change? Sydney Airport is on a bold journey to achieve net zero emissions by 2030, and were looking for a Program Manager to play a key role in making that happen. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of programs and strategies across energy and utilitiesincluding electricity, natural gas, and waterto support SYDs sustainability and business objectives. Your work will directly contribute to our net zero commitment, helping to shape the future of one of Australias most iconic infrastructure assets. Youll be part of a collaborative and high-performing Facilities Management teamcustodians of the airports critical assets and infrastructureworking closely with stakeholders across Asset Management, Baggage, Technical Services, Operational Services, Technology, Sustainability, Finance, Project Delivery, and Planning. In this role you will have the opportunity to As a sponsor representative, lead the development and delivery of impactful energy and utility programsincluding solar, battery, electrification, and building management system upgradesto help achieve SYDs net zero target. Identify and implement energy and water efficiency opportunities, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and engage stakeholders. Contribute your expertise to future-focused asset management strategies that align with SYDs energy efficiency roadmap. Establish and apply best-practice processes and frameworks for project delivery, including measurement and verification of performance outcomes. Quantify program benefits and payback periods to guide investment decisions and maximise environmental and commercial outcomes. Research and champion innovative solutions that drive long-term sustainability and utility performance across Sydney Airports asset portfolio. About You Tertiary qualifications and experience in engineering, sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, ideally within infrastructure or asset-intensive environments. Strong experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of assets or infrastructure programs, including stakeholder engagement, capital works, contractor management, and financial planning. A strategic, commercial mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery with long-term sustainability goals. Proven ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders. High-level analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights that inform decisions and drive outcomes. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
