We offer an exceptional calendar of public events, member events, and private functions within a unique, boutique venue in Sydney overlooking Hyde Park.We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations and Events Coordinator to join our small, values-driven team.About the RoleThis position plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of events and functions, while overseeing key operational aspects of the Club. You will support both internal programming and private venue hire, manage catering and logistics, and act as a key point of contact for members, suppliers and staff. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesEvents Coordination Plan and coordinate TWC public events, member events, and special programming, including preparation of run sheets and on-the-day oversightPrivate Functions Liaise with members and guests to plan and deliver private functions, upsell venue offerings, and coordinate logisticsFood & Beverage Oversight Coordinate catering with internal and external contractors, ensure wine stock is maintained, and the dining room operates smoothlyVenue Operations Manage room bookings, staffing rosters, casual team coordination, and supplier relationships within budgetMember Engagement Support members with bookings and logistics to ensure a positive experience for all membersGeneral Administration Maintain schedules, coordinate with the CEO, and ensure all operational and event-related tasks are handled with care and precisionWhat Youll BringDemonstrated experience in event coordination, venue operations, or program deliveryStrong organisational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsConfidence working with suppliers, staff, members and VIP guestsAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt as neededFamiliarity with rostering, budgets, and venue logisticsAvailability to work part-time (3-4 days per week), with some flexibility for evening eventsExperience working with member-based organisations, cultural institutions, or hospitality venuesAn interest in womens leadership, cultural programming, or the artsSalary bracket FTE Pro-Rata $70k-80kPlease send your CV and a short cover letter to Danielle Asciak, CEO The Women''s Club, ceo@thewomensclub.com.au.
