The successful candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding, with expertise in carbon steel, stainless steel, and super duplex materials. This role involves working on high specification projects, ensuring the highest quality of work is achieved in every weld.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and super duplex materials in all positionsFabricate and weld pipe spools and complex components according to technical drawingsOperate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficientlyEnsure all work meets AS3992, Lloyds, and DNV specificationsPass X-ray and other NDT quality testsFollow all welding safety standards and proceduresWork closely with project teams to meet production schedules and quality standardsIdentify welding issues and contribute to problem-solving and solutionsQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in TIG welding, with a focus on stainless steel weldingAbility to work with GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding techniquesCompetent in reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawingsStrong knowledge of welding materials, techniques, and equipmentExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality weldsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, with a current drivers license and own transportPreferred SkillsCertification in TIG welding (preferred but not required)Experience with Super Duplex materials is a bonusFamiliarity with welding codes and regulationsWhite CardForklift or High-Risk Work LicensesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package38-hour standard week with opportunities for overtime/penalty ratesSafe and modern working environment with PPE providedRostered Day Off (RDO) for better work-life balanceCareer progression and training opportunitiesSupportive, inclusive team cultureHow To ApplyIf youre an experienced TIG Welder ready to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
