Your normal may not be my normal, and normal today may not be normal tomorrow.About The RoleThis is a newly created People & Culture Manager role, our first dedicated position in the P&C space, designed to shape and support the full employee lifecycle at Heaps Normal. As we grow, we want to continue building a workplace culture thats inclusive, values-driven and genuinely fun to be part of.Reporting to our Chief of Staff, youll work closely with the broader leadership team to design and deliver people programs, systems and experiences that help our team thrive - wherever theyre working from. Youll also play a key role in helping our team live our values day-to-day, while building out the foundational processes and policies that support our next stage of growth. This is a part-time role (FTE 0.6) and based out of our HQ in Marrickville, NSW / Eora with flexibility for hybrid work.The ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement our people strategy, aligned with Heaps Normals values and growth ambitionsOwn and continuously improve the employee experience, from onboarding and engagement to performance, development and recognitionLead culture and wellbeing initiatives that support team connection, safety and belonging across both remote and hybrid environmentsBuild and embed key people systems, policies and processes that are practical, scalable and values-alignedPartner with our leadership on recruitment, workforce planning and team developmentBe the go-to for all things people-related - offering thoughtful, practical guidance to support team members and people managers alikeCollaborate on internal comms, employee events and culture-building ritualsOversee compliance and risk in areas like workplace safety, employee relations and respectful workplace practicesHelp set up scalable processes that support growth - without losing what makes us specialAbout YouYou''re someone who gets energy from helping people grow and creating environments where teams can do their best work.
