Job DescriptionHybrid Bid Manager Opportunity. My client is a leading M&E contractor and is looking to take on an experienced Bid Manager to join their London team. As a Bid Manager, you will oversee the project bid process ensuring that well-prepared and coordinated bids are ready for review and adjudication. You will also manage the second stage of the bidding process ensuring all tender documents and amendments are thoroughly reviewed and acknowledged. This role offers a hybrid working model (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH), a competitive salary of 70,000 - 75,000, plus a car allowance, private healthcare, pension, and a bonus. The office is based in Central London.Roles and Responsibilities:Check and acknowledge tender documents and amendments.Ensure that details are entered on RIMS.Arrange tender launch meeting.Establish and request all necessary resources to be provided to the tender team.Produce a Bid Strategy and brief the tender team.Ensure correct selection of subcontractors and suppliers for key packages.Organise distribution of tender documents/amendments for appropriate parties.Arrange tender submission document production and checking.Ensure appropriate members of the bid team answer queries from subcontractors/suppliers.Arrange site visits.Ensure Risk analysis and Risk Register are produced.Request further information from Client/Design Team and arrange meetings if required.Conduct internal meetings to review design alternatives/value management.Ensure pricing reflects the proposed methodology.Agree on proposed Prelims.Liaise with builders conference.Attend Adjudication Meeting.Co-ordinate post-tender negotiations with Client.Ensure final Green Sheet is fully distributed prior to adjudication.Maintain/pursue business development opportunities.Ensure that final tender information is entered on RIMS.Attend hand-over meeting and brief team on tender bid.Organise and lead Design Team Meetings, if D & B (if no Design Manager involved).Undertake project debrief, eliciting feedback from sites to improve construction.Manage the second stage.If youre an experienced Bid Manager with a strong background in construction (M&E NOT ESSENTIAL), I want to hear from you!The ideal candidate will bring expertise in second stage bidding and the drive to make a real impact.
