A successful candidate will have comprehensive skills in the use of technology, a positive attitude towards problem solving, strong numeracy skills and a willingness to take initiative and a focus on getting things done.The roleThe role consists of a variety of responsibilities:Understanding the purpose, scope, configuration and features of the Financial Simplicity digital platform.Testing: Ensuring the digital platform functions correctly, developing testing methodologies, running test scripts, overseeing existing automated testing systems (Ghost Inspector).Requirement Analysis: Understanding customer needs, requirements, and desired outcomes.Design and Development: Creating and modifying specifications of the digital platform based on project requirements. This will be important as part of development of a next-gen platform in 2025.Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for the digital platform, including user materials and specifications.Maintenance and Support: Providing occasional applications support (not technical support) to clients and users.Client Communication: Communicating with clients with respect to the digital platform providing technical guidance, and addressing concerns.Working with other teams, mainly the engineering team and sales team, to align expectations and ensure successful outcomes.Problem Solving: Troubleshooting issues and finding creative solutions to meet customer needs.The role will be competitively remunerated with an opportunity to participate in the company equity incentive program.Key Working RelationshipsThe key people the role interacts with are:The main interaction point is with the Engineering Manager who sets priorities, timeframes and supports you with technical and systems knowledge. This includes monthly checkpoints.CEO: interaction with the CEO is typical up to an hour each week, primarily with respect to the digital platform and vision, values, and team direction.
