Purchasing Officer (Packaging) with 3 - 5 years exp in Pharma/FMCG/Food Manufacturing IndustrySeeking Purchasing Officer (Packaging)Permanent Role ideally suited to an individual who is degree qualified in Supply Chain (or related field) with 3-5 years experience as a purchasing officer in a pharmaceutical, FMCG or food manufacturing environment that has had a focus on procuring packaging for the business and manages this categorySalary: $75,000 - $80,000 + Super + BonusSouth East Melbourne locationKey ResponsibilitiesProcurement and sourcing of a dedicated buying portfolio in a cost effective, timely and professional mannerPurchase materials from approved suppliers to support the production plan, agreed stock targets and according to exact specifications (considering price, quality, service and compliance)Plan and purchase using SAPMonitor and report on supplier performanceLiaise with Quality Control department and suppliers to ensure quality, service, delivery and continuity of supply as well as participate in audits as requiredPurchase to support production as needed and maintain appropriate stock levelsWork in compliance with a GMP environmentMaintain Master Data, purchasing information records, source lists for raw materials, non-printed packaging and consumablesAct as back-up for packaging specialist as necessaryEnsure all relevant SOPs, Policies and Procedures are always adhered toCommunication in a cross functional working environment to achieve plans, goals and outcomesKey RequirementsIdeally you will possess:Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a Related FieldExperience in sourcing & purchasing packaging for the pharmaceutical, skincare, personal care, food, FMCG or related industry (3-5+ years experience working with local and international suppliers is highly regarded)Knowledge of procurement principlesSAP experience or knowledge of a similar ERP system (preferably)Strong administration and organisational abilityExcellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving ability, sense of urgency and high attention to detailA natural relationship builder with a passion and competence for purchasing and achieving results for the companyMust possess:Valid and unrestricted Australian Drivers LicenceFull work rights in Australia (PR, NZ or AU Citizenship)Benefits:Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 + Super + bonusGreat Management, Team & CultureTraining development & career progression opportunitiesSouth Eastern Suburbs locationFree onsite parkingIf this sounds like the next right move for your career, hit apply now and attach your resume and cover letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr
