With sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we can hire eligible candidates for this role from any location in Australia and New Zealand.Atlassian is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Finance Strategic Transformation team. We seek a leader with strong Quote to Cash (QTC) and Procure to Pay (PTP) expertise, exceptional collaboration skills, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. You will play a key role in establishing industry-leading finance and accounting processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Business, Technology, and other departments. As a Finance Transformation thought leader, you will drive high-impact finance initiatives that contribute to our operational and financial goals.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dynamic environment of change within the SaaS industry and will assist in implementing strategies to proactively address systemic finance and accounting needs and operational improvements. You will drive change through key process improvements and systems implementations.This role reports to our Head of Finance Transformation. If you are looking to make a global impact, partner with passionate team members, and take your career to the next level, we encourage you to join us on this exciting journey.What you''ll doManage finance transformation projects focusing primarily on the Quote to Cash (QTC) cycle, encompassing Order Management, Revenue Recognition, Billing, Credit, Collections/Disputes, and Cash Application processes.Conduct analysis of finance processes (QTC, PTP, RTR) to identify inefficiencies and propose business process improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal, Product/Engineering, Finance GPOs, and IT to implement process improvements and technological solutions.Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a new commerce platform.Prepare business cases and executive communications to advocate for change.Identify, scope, and prioritize projects based on business needs. Develop detailed project plans, including approach, timelines, milestones, and resources, ensuring accurate and within-budget project delivery.Align business requirements with system solutions, assess impacts on financial statements, and ensure readiness for financial changes.Manage readiness for organizational changes within the Finance department, ensuring testing, training, and documentation, including SOX compliance.Manage and communicate changes to program status, risks, and dependencies. Identify, assess, and transparently escalate program issues/conflicts and suggest resolutions.Define data-driven frameworks and processes to identify, measure, and manage program success, focusing on business value, including benchmarking.Continuously expand your knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning, as well as industry trends and best practices in finance, and effectively apply this expertise in your work.Your background10+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting focused on Quote to Cash and Procure to Pay with at least 2 years of experience in Finance Transformation and program management, overseeing large-scale, complex cross-functional programs that delivered outcomes within scope, budget, and timelines.Comprehensive understanding of Finance Transformation, including areas such as PTP, RTR, and FP&A, is a plus.Ability to build and deliver compelling presentations and influence executives.Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Comfortable building and driving new frameworks and processes with cross-functional teams.Ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
