Parkville Youth Justice Precinct is located in the inner northern Melbourne suburb of Parkville. The Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct is located in the western suburbs of Melbourne.The opportunityOngoing, full-time position based in Parkville, Melbourne.VPS 3 role: $76,817 - $93,275 per year plus super.Responsible for supporting the Director of Operations and Senior Managers within Youth Justice Custodial Services by providing a full range of executive, confidential, administrative, and operational support functions.Provide quality customer help desk functions on office management procedures, policy and procedural guidelines, and other administrative and general office functions.Identify improvements and contribute to the development of new systems and processes in collaboration with the relevant subject matter experts across the department to identify the most appropriate solutions.To be successful in this role you will have experience inGeneral office management and the provision of confidential, personal, and administrative support functions to a senior manager; preferably within a multi-agency service delivery environment.Ability to work collaboratively, operating as an effective team member, and excellent organisational skills to cope effectively with changing priorities.A current driver''s licence is required due to the need to work across different locations.You will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be maintained by the employee for the period of employment.To learn more about the type of skills you will need to thrive in this role, please read the position description.What''s in it for you?You will be working for the Department of Justice and Community Safety, which is one arm of the Victorian State Government, a recognised top employer of choice nationally.
