Sedgman is in the process of recruiting for a Materials Handling Designer to join our team in Perth. To allow us to meet the upcoming workload the team is looking at innovative ways to improve our efficiency in design whilst maintaining the right outcomes for our projects and clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Materials Handling Designer to join our team.What does this role involve?Materials handling facility layouts including conveyors, equipment and platework, 3D modelling and detailed engineering drawings from conceptual sketches through to detailed design, under the direction of Lead Drafter or Lead EngineerContribute technical and design assistance to provide engineering design solutions in consultation with Lead Drafter or Lead EngineerDemonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practicesEnsure drafting and review processes are completed. Review drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with Sedgman Standards.
