Across Melbourne and Victorias west, we reach over 20,000 community members each year including direct capacity building for over 4,000 participants in our targeted programs. The role is Part Time and is a Max-Term contract of 18 months.Your contribution to the team includesThe role of Regional Program Officer provides support with the coordination and facilitation of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation Leaders of the Pack programs in Yarriambiack, West Wimmera, and Horsham, along with liaising with the community to maintain strong connections. This role is also responsible for:WB Community Foundation Program SupportWB Community Foundation Program Support: Community Engagement and WellbeingHigh level responsibilityFacilitating the local promotion and registration of WBCF Leaders of the Pack Program in all three areasBuilding relationships with Program Delivery Partners, schools, students, volunteers, and other key organisationsProviding ongoing support, encouragement, and guidance to program participants and volunteersIdentifying and assisting to mitigate risks to participants and the programEngagement with local sporting clubs in regional Victoria areasHelping deliver WBCF events such as game day events, key program graduations, Youth Expo event, and other promotion and participant engagement events, activities, and activationsEnsuring all rural programs are inclusive and welcoming of diversityPart Time 0.8, Max-Term Contract for 18 monthsSkills and experiencePreferable but not required: Bachelor of Youth Work, Social Work, community development, psychology related fields.
