Meridan State College is a Prep to Year 12 school, located on the north-western side of the Caloundra Urban area on the Sunshine Coast.Meridan State College is seeking two part-time cleaners to join our team.About The DepartmentThe Department of Education is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity. Rostered to work over 3 days.Position 2: 36.25 hours per week. Rostered to work over 5 days.Our Cleaners work split shifts with these being between 4am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 6pm.School cleaners play a vital role in the school community by reducing the spread of disease through high standards of cleaning practices and keeping the appearance of the school at a high standard. It is the responsibility of school cleaners to deliver a clean and hygienic learning environment for all students.As The Cleaner, You WillContribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.The Cleaner reports to the school Principal or nominated delegate. In a non-school location, the cleaner reports directly to the Site Manager.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
