BIM Implementation is also a bonus.Minimum 5 years of Australian work experience in technical design / documentation of hydraulic and fire systems within building structures. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Design Consulting Engineering.Highly specialised and proven experience in hydraulic drafting including sanitary, plumbing and stormwater drainage design, cold and hot water service design, irrigation systems and non-potable water system design, fire systems and sprinkler design, hydrant coverage and fire hose reel coverage plans for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Skill in hydraulic calculations from first principles and material estimations are also required.General organisational skills, including written communication, and most importantlyLeadership qualities to coach and mentor others.Monitoring project timeframes and reporting to Project Leaders and Project Directors.Work collaboratively with colleagues.Mentor and support Design Technicians.Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and project delivery.The ideal person will be hard working, committed, motivated, energetic and reliable.
