A variety of projects are on offer!We are looking for a talented hydraulic designer with relevant experience in Australia.The Successful Applicant:We are seeking a hands-on, experienced hydraulic designer to work within our Structural, Civil and Hydraulic team to lead and coach others.The successful applicant will possess:Relevant qualifications in Hydraulic Design / Drafting or Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design (or ability to attain), proof of ongoing professional development and a disposition for life-long learning.Experience in Civil Engineering Design would be highly regarded, together with a desire to learn and expand expertise in this field.You''ll love working on a variety of projects, applying your innovative way of thinking to solving unique challenges for our clients, Australia-wide.Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit Architecture & MEP and Civil 3D required. BIM Implementation is also a bonus.Minimum 5 years of Australian work experience in technical design / documentation of hydraulic and fire systems within building structures. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Design Consulting Engineering.Highly specialised and proven experience in hydraulic drafting including sanitary, plumbing and stormwater drainage design, cold and hot water service design, irrigation systems and non-potable water system design, fire systems and sprinkler design, hydrant coverage and fire hose reel coverage plans for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Skill in hydraulic calculations from first principles and material estimations are also required.General organisational skills, including written communication, and most importantlyLeadership qualities to coach and mentor others.Monitoring project timeframes and reporting to Project Leaders and Project Directors.Work collaboratively with colleagues.Mentor and support Design Technicians.Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and project delivery.The ideal person will be hard working, committed, motivated, energetic and reliable.
