This position is designed for an individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong analytical skills, with a passion for contributing to the BWA mission.In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation, including:Execute in a timely manner all Accounts payableManage all aspects of payroll processing including superannuation and salary packagingHandle account inquiries and follow up as neededManage the many other financial transactions such as International Partner payments, credit card and petty cash paymentsMaintain accurate financial records for audit and compliance and provide reports as needed.This position requires someone who can work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate a commitment to the values of Baptist World Aid Australia. The Finance Support Officer will play an integral part in fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the organisations finance operations.Skills and Experiences:Who are we looking for?You may be an Accounts Assistant looking for a change, a bookkeeper or an administrator who has had exposure to accounts.Ideally, you will have:Minimum of 2- 3 years experience in accounts payable and Australian payroll, with a good knowledge of accounting principles and GL processes and financial controls.Customer service orientated with a can-do attitudeStrong attention to detail.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.Aligned to the vision and mission and values of Baptist World Aid.It would be an advantage if you had:Demonstrated ability in managing NetSuite or similar financial/ERP systemDemonstrated experience in making international paymentsNot for profit salary packaging experience.What do we offer?We want our people to live life to the full and have developed a range of Better World benefits to create a valued employee experience.
