Duties will include:Continued development and delivery of the HR framework aligned with our business strategyProviding compliant and holistic advice for all employee relations and wellbeing mattersPartnering with the leadership team to identify and address workforce planning needsLeading the talent acquisition, onboarding and induction programsProviding support and guidance for employee development and succession planningLeading performance coaching, counselling and termination processesDeveloping and implementing policies and proceduresManaging work and non-work related injury and illnessLeading the collaboration and implementation of initiatives for employee engagement and wellbeingChampioning process improvement, employee training and systems administration in Employment HeroProviding assistance with payroll, safety and general administrationAbout youThe following skills / qualifications are essential for this role:7+ years experience in HRQualifications in HR (or similar) or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of HR compliance and best practiceDemonstrated working knowledge and experience in proactively managing operational HR matters, including disciplinary, conduct and grievance issuesProficient in HRIS software management, preferably Employment HeroExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to drive outcomes with purpose and accountabilityOpen and accepting of different ideas and experiencesAbility to bring a team together to achieve a combined end goalSelf-motivatedAbility to work effectively with a nationally-distributed teamA drive to contribute ideas and improve existing processes and systemsWillingness to travel to other offices from time-to-timeAlignment with our company values.The following skills / attributes will be highly regarded:Experience in the engineering and / or project management consultancy fieldThe added benefitsFlexible working arrangementsCompany-wide paid days offPurchased leave optionProfit sharingFamily-friendly cultureAt Harris Kmon Solutions, we believe that solving problems is our calling and that technical does not need to mean transactional.
