The MRQ mission is to provide a state-wide boating safety network, able to respond to blue water situations, educate the boating public, and contribute to their unique skills to support emergency service agencies during disaster and emergency events, and other organisations for routine tasks.As a member of the MRQ Training Team, you will coordinate and oversee the development and evaluation of training functions. Assisting with planning, implementation, and delivery, you will work collaboratively across the Northern region including the Gulf of Carpentaria and Mornington Island (role based in Townsville), with State and MRQ member stakeholders to ensure delivery of standardised, accredited and non-accredited, competency-based training.You will provide strategic advice for capability-focused projects and monitor interdependencies across multiple initiatives to achieve the successful delivery of training.
