Competitive package ~$200K, subject to candidateLi-S Energy is seeking a highly experienced results-driven professional to lead our strategic partnership development, business development and key program delivery.As part of a well-funded, ASX-listed Australian technology company and reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive growth by establishing key partnerships, creating excellent partner relationships and managing strategic partner facing projects.The ideal candidate will have an engineering or science background, plus experience in business and partner development, project delivery, and stakeholder communications.This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of battery technology worldwide and contribute to the global commercialisation of Australias leading advanced battery company.About usLi-S Energy is a publicly listed Australian company that has developed unique lithium sulfur and lithium metal batteries using technology developed and patented in Australia.Our lithium sulfur cells have already demonstrated more than twice the energy density of lithium-ion. The cells are also greener, with no nickel, cobalt or manganese and are far less prone to global material supply risks.We have seen unprecedented demand from global EV manufacturers, aviation, drone and defence OEMs for cell testing and trials. We need to translate this demand into meaningful partnerships, driving test and trial programs leading to conditional supply agreements.The Company has built and commissioned Australias largest automated pouch cell production facility and battery testing centre in Geelong, Victoria, and is now ready to scale to commercial manufacturing.The opportunityAs the head of our Partnership Development capability, you will lead our global growth in significant OEM partnerships in drones, eAviation, heavy EV, defence and security markets, plus other markets as they arise.You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CTO, senior leadership team and the Board. The role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.You are a highly accountable professional who thrives in a fast-moving, startup-like setting where responsibilities are broad and expectations for delivery are high.You will be responsible for:Identifying, developing, securing and managing key global strategic partnerships to expand our market reach and technological collaboration.Driving other business development initiatives to support the commercialisation of Li-S Energys technology and products.Representing Li-S Energy at industry conferences, trade shows, and meetings, both domestically and internationally.Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of key partner facing projects as a partner advocate, working closely with the CTO and management team to ensure collaborative partner programs are successfully executed.Leveraging the company CRM system to drive data-driven decision making and ensure timely prospect engagement & management.Writing compelling proposals, including in response to solicitations and funding opportunities.Taking ownership of initiatives from start to finish, demonstrating a hands-on approach to execution.You will have:An engineering or science degree. Higher degrees, management or other qualifications would be an advantage.Minimum 10 years experience in business development, partnership management, technical sales and project execution, ideally within the battery, drone, defence, aerospace, or technology sectors.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated presentation skills, with the ability to take complex technical information and deliver compelling clear messaging that inspires prospective partners to secure buy-in and drive strategic partnerships forward.Demonstrated experience in managing partner facing projects and programs.Ability to liaise effectively with management team peers and staff at all levels.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and consistently deliver results in a lean, fast-moving startup culture where multitasking and accountability are essential.An extensive global contact network in the battery, drone, aerospace or defence industries would be a distinct advantage for the role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, presentation tools, project management software, AI and CRM systems is a natural prerequisite for this role.LocationGeelong preferred, other locations considered, with flexibility for frequent travel both domestically and internationally.Interested?Find out more about working at Li-S Energy in our career''s brochure online at lis.energy/careers.To apply for the position please submit your resume, cover letter, and other relevant information via the ''Quick apply'' link. #J-18808-Ljbffr
