A leading food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at its Caboolture facility. This is a 6month contract role with the potential for extension, ideal for a seasoned manufacturing leader ready to step into a standalone position and drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a small, dedicated team of full-time and casual staff.Oversee daily production operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.Manage production scheduling, inventory control, and labor resources.Maintain equipment reliability through coordination with external maintenance teams.Monitor and manage the site budget and operational expenses.Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality documentation.Essential Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Operations, Engineering, Food Technology, or related discipline.HACCP qualifications.5-10+ years experience in an operational leadership role within the food manufacturing industry; experience in a commercial bakery or production kitchen environment is preferred.Strong people management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and electronic payroll systems (e.g., Kronos).What We Offer:Competitive remuneration on a daily rate basis.A dynamic work environment with the opportunity to shape the operational direction of the site.The chance to work autonomously while supporting and developing a small, committed team.If you are a proactive, experienced leader looking for a challenging role with significant responsibility, wed love to hear from you.
