Depending on workload, this role may also occasionally supplement FMs servicing needs in both Qld and interstate. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage teams, coordinate on-site activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Location: Brisbane, QLDKey Position Accountabilities:Site Installation and Management: Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.Project Coordination: Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of installation and commissioning projects.Team Leadership: Supervise and support technicians, contractors, and other on-site personnel.Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out following WHS regulations and company safety policies.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during installation and commissioning, minimising delays.Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, project progress, and any issues encountered.Key Selection Criteria:Proven experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing, automation, or packaging industry.Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, preferably with experience in packaging machinery.Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Willingness to travel to client sites across Queensland and occasionally interstate.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and reports.Experience and Qualifications:Formal qualifications in Engineering, Dual trade qualifications OR industry experience will all be equally considered.Experience with robotics and automation systems.Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment.Understanding of safety compliance and risk assessment procedures.If you are passionate about technology, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a supportive environment, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the success of Foodmachs packaging automation solutions.To apply, please submit both your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.Foodmach Australia is an equal opportunity employer.
