Reporting to the Account Director, this role plays a key, client-facing role in delivering on media strategy execution through developing effective localised media planning and overseeing the quality of execution in market. This means youll be tasked with mentoring and supporting juniors (Coordinators and Executives) on best practice, ensuring quality of output, performance reporting and overseeing administrative tasks for the team. It will also enable you to continue building on your knowledge of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) media planning across a variety of audiences, platforms, mediums and industries.This includesTake a lead on cultivating and growing positive working relationships with our clients, our agency partners and suppliers, and wider media teams within dentsu.Take ownership of all media channel planning activity, offline and digital, across your client portfolio and aligning it to global and regional strategy.Quality control/review and support the team with media campaign setup and activations best practices, campaign reporting, research and insights, preparing and delivering client presentations, and support any other adhoc requests from the client.Reporting and analysis of performance, and optimising campaigns against KPIs to ensure alignment to achieving client objectives alongside our suppliers.Maintain and share your knowledge across the latest market developments within the media and advertising industry, related platforms, best practices and tools across the Australian media landscape.Having financial responsibility for client budgets, owning budget trackers and maintaining overall financial acumen of campaigns.Assist in people management tasks, including recruitment, performance reviews, training and onboarding as needed.Continuously develop your learning and understanding of the evolving AU and global media and advertising landscape across all channels, tools and platforms.A bit about youGood experience within the Australian media and advertising marketplace, ideally across both digital and offline/traditional channels.A strength in digital/social channel planning experience and good knowledge of best practice execution across programmatic, ad operations and paid search across B2B and B2C audiences.A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts.Evolving leadership skillset and willingness to impart knowledge to lift overall capability of the team.A collaborator personality is key, so effective communication skills is a must as we work in a dynamic environment.Youre tech and data savvy, a practical thinker with ability to work with a high volume of numbers and a natural flare for problem solving.An good eye for detail and enjoys coaching, mentoring or training.Whats in it for youReal flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our Be the Best You policy.5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company mental health awareness days off per year.Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University.Save money with great discounts on health insurance, gym membership, buying a car and travel!Become a champion for meaningful progressOur diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
