Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our blue-collar construction teams, whilst ensuring construction time frames are met and in a safe manner.As a visible leader on-site, the Construction Superintendent sets the tone for the workforce, fostering teamwork and accountability. They must remain calm under pressure, making sound decisions in fast-paced and high-stakes environments. Additionally, the Construction Superintendent upholds the standards and objectives of Farrelly Construction Services by implementing company policies, adhering to industry best practices, and adapting to new procedures as needed.As part of the pre-employment process, you will need to complete & pass a pre-employment medical.Primary Responsibilities & Duties:Duties including but not limited to:Coordinate and supervise multi-discipline trades, subcontractors, and labour on-site.Comprehensive understanding of construction techniques, methods, and sequencing in large scale industrial projects.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.Liaise with and direct personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases in accordance with project requirements.Ensure equipment and materials are delivered at specified times to conform to work schedule and contract requirements.Adaptability and problem-solving skills to thrive in our dynamic work environment.In-depth understanding of the project scope and developing QA Documentation Package(s) in accordance with the Contract and SOW.In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).Financial and commercial acumen to drive project performance.Essential Skills, Qualifications, Attributes and Experience:Minimum 5-7 years experience in a similar position within Mining & Industrial Infrastructure.Trade / Tertiary qualification in a relevant construction discipline.Supervisor Training G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3).Current Class C drivers license.White card.Strong leadership qualities to inspire and lead your team effectively.Highly organised and a strong communicator.Proven high quality experience producing correspondence and documents.Proficient in using Microsoft office products and comfortable with using clients project software.Employee Assistance Program.A competitive remuneration.Opportunity to learn and develop your career.All applications are treated in confidence.Only successful applicants will be contacted.No agencies please.Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
