Want to join the ride?What You Will Be DoingWe are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards and procedures. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of projects and requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.As Document Controller, your work will focus on these responsibilities:Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.Ensure that all documents are accurately filed, stored, and easily accessible in both Wrtsil and customer repositories.Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems.Monitor and track document revisions and ensure that the latest versions are distributed to relevant stakeholders.Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.Conduct regular audits of document control processes and systems to ensure compliance with company standards.Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and systems.Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to document control activities.Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Management, or a related field.3+ years of proven experience as a Document Controller, or in a similar role.Proficiency in document management software and systems.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Able to multi-task to support Project Managers and Sales Managers in both the proposal and project phases.Eager to learn and bring new ideas to the team for continuous improvement.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for document control.Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS), particularly in a hybrid work environment.Knowledge and/or certifications in document control or records management (e.g., ISO 9001, ARMA).Why you and usYou are valued as your true self.
