Join a supportive team, enjoy a competitive salary, and take pride in delivering excellence every day.This is a permanent full-time position, and full Australian working rights are essential.A few of your responsibilitiesSupport or lead the assigned section as directed by the Chef De Cuisine and provide training to junior staff members.Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.Complete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements.Meet requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast-paced environment.What are we looking forCulinary School Graduate. Received apprenticeship training in commercial cookery.Proven experience preparing sushi and sashimi with speed, precision, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring the highest quality and presentation with every dish.Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.Successfully completed a Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship, gaining comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, particularly in caf, hotel, or high-volume settings, along with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of relevant liquor laws.Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.About YouYou are passionate and creative, with strong sushi & sashimi experience and a willingness to share your expertise to guide and support team members in the Commissary Kitchen. With excellent communication skills, you thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues, management, and interacting with customers.
