Carpenter - TownsvilleThe OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and motivated tradesperson to join our clients team in Townsville. As a vital part of Queenslands building and construction industry, they offer the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.This temporary role is expected to run for approximately three months, with the potential for extension depending on workload and business needs.Whats on offer:Temporary assignment with a Government organisationExplore new parts of QLD outside of TownsvilleAll travel and food suppliedBe involved with many different projects and take the pressure off yourself if you have been in your own business for some timePlease be advised this is not a FIFO role; you need to be a Townsville resident or from surrounding areasKey ResponsibilitiesPerform carpentry trade work to a high standardAdhere to WHS standards and proceduresAbout YouTrade qualification in carpentry or another construction industry trade qualification is highly desirableCurrent Driver''s License and White cardProven carpentry skills with the flexibility to perform cross-trade tasks (like estimating, conditions assessing, and general building and construction)Ability to work independently or in a small teamAbility to travel as required, including overnight stays of up to 4 nights and occasional travel by light aircraftPossess sound computer skillsThis is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional who enjoys variety in their work and is comfortable with travel.
