It is inclusive and we have FACEMS over different stages of their careers working here, from first year out, to a Senior Staff Specialist and Professor of Emergency Medicine.Our team includes:FACEMs, Career Medical Officers, Junior Medical Officers, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Aged Care Emergency Nurses, Technical Assistants, Administration, and Health & Security AssistantsStrong focus on education and training, with a dedicated nurse educator team providing excellent training, including simulationOn-site pathology and radiology (X-ray & CT) until midnight, 7 days a week, with on-call services available overnightAccreditation with ACRRM for the ED AST year and ongoing ACEM certificate and diploma trainingWe see approximately 29,000 presentations annually, with an admission rate of 14%.
