About The RoleThe Product Specialist - New Products will play a key role in managing Schlam''s new product introduction process, ensuring projects are effectively resourced and delivered on time. Youll contribute to the development of Schlams truck bed portfolio, ensuring that the sales team offers the most optimized truck bed designs for each opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the NPI Process: Manage Schlams new product introduction process, including idea collection, business case development, and timeline management. Continuously improve the NPI process to meet business needs.Ensure Cohesive Execution: Chair product meetings, prioritize projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align goals. Report regularly on product status to senior leadership.Prioritize and Coordinate Resources: Allocate resources effectively across business units to meet project timelines. Review and adjust priorities to ensure alignment with business and customer needs.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with production, engineering, and business development teams to ensure smooth product launches.
