Youll play a crucial role as part of our hard working team, providing a confidential and efficient payroll function to council and our employees.What Your Day Will Look LikeMaintaining confidential personnel and payroll records throughout the employee lifecycleCompleting payroll activities including data entry, adjustments and reviewsEnsuring compliance with all relevant legislation including superannuation and taxationReviewing and updating payroll related policies and proceduresProviding advice to employees as needed and liaising with external agenciesAssisting with payroll reporting as requiredWhat Youll Need For SuccessDemonstrated experience in a payroll position, ideally within a high volume environmentSolid understanding of payroll related legislation and industrial awardsStrong customer service and relationship building skillsA high level of accuracy when performing data entry dutiesThe ability to pick up new systems with easeBenefits Of Working With CouncilCommitted to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge and talent.
