Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Drill Fitter (167274) Moranbah, AustraliaWe have an opportunity for a Mechanical Drill Fitter on a FIFO/DIDO roster to join our company as part of Field Maintenance for our clients.SafeGard Mechanical is a Queensland based company, reputable for having exceptional diagnostic skills and carrying out repairs and maintenance in precise time, whilst adhering to the highest safety standards.We operate in parts of Northen Queensland and Western Australia and have a current opportunity in Moranbah, Northern Queensland.As we are expanding, we require qualified and experienced drill fitters to join our team in servicing and maintaining rigs in blast-hole, water-well and exploration drilling.In this role you will require the ability to work independently and uphold a positive attitude towards work and safety.SafeGard is looking for a new team member who is focused on the job, self-motivated and always looking to improve their skillset.You also need to be able to adapt to the ongoing changes with site requirements and safety measures.To be Successful in this role, you will need to possess or be willing to obtain:Australian Trade Certificate (Mechanical Heavy Diesel Trade)Australian Driver LicenceStandard 11 Mining InductionAbility to pass a pre-employment medicalProblem-solving ability, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills whilst being able to repair and maintain a range of rigs, not limited to: Shramm, Sandvik, CAT, Atlas and Epiroc drillsExperience in an open pit mining environmentAbility to pass drug and alcohol testing for pre-employment and during employmentAny other relevant tickets, licenses or qualifications including Working at Heights.What we will offer you:A competitive hourly rateDIDO/FIFOVaried rosters, 1:1, 2:2, 2:1 depending on sitesTraining, mentorship, and career development opportunitiesUte providedAccommodation providedIf youre interested in joining our team at SafeGard, please Apply Now. #J-18808-Ljbffr
