We are committed to producing accessible food, supporting communities, and delivering strong economic results, all while prioritising sustainability to ensure a prosperous, healthy planet for future generations.The role:Were seeking a WHS Coordinator to join our Proserpine prawn farm in a permanent full-time capacity. Reporting to the Safety Department, youll play a pivotal role in coordinating Tassals Group WHS Management System (WHSMS) at the site level. This is a hands-on opportunity to drive safety culture, support production teams, and ensure compliance across our operations.Responsibilities:Identify and lead continuous safety improvements to foster a proactive safety culture.Report and investigate hazards, incidents, and near misses, ensuring timely resolution.Develop, monitor, and review risk assessments and risk registers.Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for injured workers.Deliver safety inductions and training to new and existing employees.Manage multiple WHS information systems and maintain accurate records.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.Role requirements:A genuine passion for workplace safety and professional development in WHS.Cert IV or higher in Workplace Health and Safety (essential).Return to Work Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain).Practical knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite.Working knowledge of WHS legislation (advantageous).Experience in agriculture, aquaculture or related industries (highly regarded).A current drivers licence.Full-time working rights in Australia.Role offerings:Take advantage of financial benefits, including salary packaging, novated leasing, and exclusive rewards to enhance your lifestyle.Access comprehensive health and wellbeing programs designed to support you and your family, ensuring you thrive both at work and at home.Join a leading Australian aquaculture company that values teamwork, innovation, and sustainability.
