No. 24742Please note this position is for current internal employees onlyMount Isa Mines are currently advertising an opportunity that exists for the role of Distribution Control Officer. Reporting to the Senior HV and Refrigeration Coordinator, your primary responsibility involves switching of the high voltage power reticulation system across our Mount Isa Mines Assets. This position is residentially based in Mount Isa on a 4 on 4 off day shift roster.The successful candidate will be responsible for:HV Switching of the High Voltage Distribution System.Issuing of HV Isolation and Access permits and group isolations.Preparation of switching programs for isolations.Issuing of excavation certificates and investigation of buried HV services.Attending and investigating faults, breakdowns and alarms on the distribution system.The successful candidate will possess:Electrical trade qualification with the ability to obtain a Queensland Electrical license.Manual drivers'' licence.A sound understanding of workplace OH&S.Previous experience operating HV switchgear in switchyards, substations and Overhead Lines.Good communication skills.A flexible attitude and sound work ethic, with excellent time management skills and the ability to achieve results within the specified time frames.A strong customer focus, high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team environment or with minimal supervision.For further information please contact: Bec McManus on (07) 4744 2080Applications Close: 8am Wednesday 23rd April 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
